Bill was a true gentleman. We so enjoyed knowing and traveling with him and Golden.

Truly our earthly loss but an awesome, heavenly gain! We will see you again, Bill, one day! Praying comfort for Golden and all the loving family and friends you have left behind.

Bill will certainly be missed! Out love to all the family. It was always a pleasure to see them at the club through the years.

So sorry for your loss Jayne sending prayers to you and your family. Sounds like he was a wonderful man. You will have a lot of good memories to get you through the tuff times. God Bless you all

What a tremendous, tremendous man. He was always such a kind face to greet you, and I loved listening to his relaxed North Carolina drawl. I saw him take such attentive care of Golden, and he always treated Grandmother with such respect while they were here visiting. I loved that he went into the "coffee shop" in town when he was here. I had the honor of growing up with Mr. Humphrey as a neighbor. He was always kind to me and willing to give his time to a young boy whom he influenced through childhood. If there has ever been a better, more faithful, Christian man that ever walked the earth, I am not aware of him. Rest in peace sir...and know that you touched many, many lives in such a positive way.
