Lloyd T. Daniels

Lloyd T. Daniels, 81, a life-long resident of Pawling, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.Born in Danbury, CT on December 21, 1932, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Gwendolyn (Thomas) Daniels. On August 9, 1969 he married Genevieve "Jeanie" Chilcutt, who survives him at home. Lloyd attended Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling from the seventh grade until he graduated in 1953, and graduated from Nicholas College in Massachusetts.Lloyd worked in quality control at Lumelite in Pawling for many years, and later in landscape maintenance at the Peale Center in Pawling.He was a past member of the Pawling Fire Department and the Pawling Lion's Club.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother C. Ross Daniels and his wife Fayne and his sister Gweneth Berkley, all of Pawling; nephews Charles Daniels III and his wife Lisa, David Daniels and his wife Susan, George Daniels and his wife Laurie, Daniel Daniels and his wife Jennifer, Thomas Daniels and his wife Emily, Lloyd Berkley, and Steven Berkley and his wife Nancy, and nieces Wendy Mackenzie and her husband Jordan and Laura Olsen and her husband Jon; cousins John Daniels, George Coulter, and Mary Jones; brother-in-law William C. Chilcutt and his wife Dottie, and their daughters Laura and Amy; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.He is predeceased by his brothers-in-law Frank Chilcutt and William Berkley and sister-in-law Blanche Chilcutt.A graveside service will be conducted in Pawling Cemetery at 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2014.A memorial service will be held after at 1 PM at All Angels Chapel at Trinity-Pawling School.
