Lloyd's Obituary

Lloyd Guy Holland, Jr. “Dink”, was born on December 17, 1971, in Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. He died on Sunday, June 23, 2024, in INOVA Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.

He is survived by: his parents, Lloyd Guy Holland Sr. “Wrink” and Ruby L. Holland “Ring”; two sisters, Shontala’ H. Harrell (Glenn Jr.) and Lillian H. Roberts (Feon); one brother, Sidney A. Holland (Alicia); three children, Malik A. Holland, Jamaikah H. Cotton (Timothy), and Destiny P. Eley (Quantrell); two grandchildren, A’mia Webb and London Eley; grandfather, Jessie Warren, Jr.; five nieces, Shelia, Sadelle, Kammeran, Regina, and Journey; eight nephews, John, Tyller, Evan, Chace, Rocky, Kameron, Jeremiah, and Josiah; uncles, Omar Malik, (AKA: Robert Holland), Henry “Bo Wit” Goodman (Rosemary), William T. (Peggy), Alphonzo Artis (Willie Mae), Linwood “Uncle Fats” Blount, Sr. (Katherine), Jesse L. Warren, Steven Warren (Kennetta), and Tyree Moore; aunts, Dolly Holland, Freddie Holland-Turner, Princess Blount, Jeraline Artis, Rosa Lee Figgs, and Carol Goodman; intimate family, a host of cousins and friends, The Darden’s, Elsie Berry, Trinette and Ray Lassiter, James and Barbara Smith, Charles and Marie Mercer, Jr. (Lloyd Jr.), shared with us, (Parents) the encouraging words he always received from Sylvester “Chuck” Johnson and Robert Coles, III. We thank all the “Friends” for their love and support.
