Lloyd's Obituary
Lloyd J. Kern Sr., 89, a native and resident of Napoleonville, LA passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2013. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at St. Anne (Napoleonville, LA) from 9:00AM to funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00AM_ at the church. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. He is survived by his son, Kelly T. Kern and wife Deborah Crochet Kern; daughters, Iris Boudreaux; Ivy Jumonville and husband Eddie Jumonville; daughter-in-law, Joan R. Kern; sisters, Dora Simoneaux and Lorraine Griffin; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife Valerie "Vera" Simoneaux Kern; parents, Joseph Kern and Victoria Richard Kern; sons, Lloyd J. Kern Jr. and Neil J. Kern; brother, Joseph Kern Jr.; sister, Louise Kern and Bertha Kern TraigleLandrys Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
