she was a special lady and well liked. i have known her for years and she was always nice and friendly and was easy to work with. Ercell worked with her for years and only had good things to say about her. my condolances to Lori, Betty and Marcie.

Lois Jane (Wolf) Chapman, 84, of West Columbia, WV, passed away January 1, 2026, in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV following an extended illness.
She was born February 20, 1941, in Mason, WV, a daughter of the late Olin and Freda (Goodnite) Wolf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Lee Chapman; son, Scott Anthony Chapman; brother, Arthur “Jack” Wolf.
She was a graduate of Wahama High School. She was a former Town Clerk for Mason, WV, with 25 plus years of service. She attended North Bend Church and enjoyed flowers and Facebook.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori (Greg) Kearns of West Columbia; sister, Betty Cline (Carl) of Mason; brother in law, Tom Chapman; grandchildren, Craig (Tabby) Kearns, Joshua (Jacklynn) Chapman, Kayla Reeves, Molly Carmichael; great-grandchildren, Hunter Blair, Isabell Blair, Faith Carmichael, Grayson Priddy; and special friend, Natasha Call.
There will be no public services. Private burial will be in Zerkle Cemetery, Letart, WV.
