Lois Tyree Cumnock

Lois Tyree Cumnock, 92, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James M. Cumnock; her mother, Bettie Gowen; sister, Beulah Martin; and brother, Ralph Tyree.She is survived by a son, James M. Cumnock, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Deborah L. Cumnock, of Reston, VA; a sister, Margaret Tolley of Madison Heights, VA; nieces Ann Ricketts, Alice Cash, and Linda Anderson; and nephews Benny Tolley and David Tyree, all of Madison Heights, VA.The family will receive friends on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 6 ? 8 P.M. at Oakey?s Roanoke Chapel. A service will be held at Oakey?s Roanoke Chapel Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Timothy Gearheart officiating. A committal will follow the same day at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg, Virginia at 2:00 P.M.In lieu of flowers, donations to her memory may be made to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA 24016
