I just learned today of Lois' passing. For many years, she and I were in ORFS, Outdoor Recreation for Seniors, a New London based group, out of The Chapin Center, that met weekly to hike, kayak. She was particularly enthusiastic and frequently invited our group over for lunch after our workout.
We shared a love of nature, animals, rescue ones. She loved seeing wild creatures near her home and feeding them.
