. I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Paroly's death. We worked together at Dinwiddie High, and I always enjoyed talking with him about our classes and other activities. He was such a nice man.. I know that he will be missed by all who knew him.

Lonnie G. Paroly, 61, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at his residence. Born in New York, he was the son of the late Stanley and Clara DeRoma Paroly. Mr. Paroly was a retired United States Army veteran and Teacher with Dinwiddie County Schools. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Paroly; and a sister, Inez Paroly of New Jersey. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights/Petersburg SPCA, Attn: Joan Black, P.O. Box 1174, Petersburg, Virginia 23804 or a favorite charity.
