Lonnie Thurman Teague, Sr, age 72, of Buckner, AR, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. Mr. Teague was born May 12, 1945, in Waldo, AR to Thurman and Dorothy (Shurtleff) Teague.He was retired from Cotton Belt/Southern Pacific Railroad.Mr. Teague was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sandy, and a Brother Donnie. He is survived by his three sons: Lonnie Jr and his wife Marcia and Jason Teague of Buckner, AR, and Steven Teague and his wife, Dava, of Walker, LA, and by a sister Nancy Nix and her husband Thomas of Stamps, AR; six grandsons: Michael, Hayden, Drue, and Connor Teague, Jason Clark, David Soileau, and one granddaughter, Nicole Brigham, and a great-grandson, Ezra. He is also survived by a former wife Rebbecca Rowe.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Lakeside Cemetery with Brother Ernie Sorrels officiating. Services will be under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, AR. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
