Lorene Louan Hohn (née Lacy), 66, of Blythe, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, in Palm Springs, California. Born on July 15, 1959, in San Bernardino, California, she lived a life filled with love and laughter.
Lorene was the wife of Stephen Sr. and a proud mother to her sons Stephen Jr. and Ryan (Brooke) and a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren: Braden, Denver, and Levi.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Ellenor Lacy; her brother Leslie "Les" Jr.; her sister Lynnet; and her infant son Christopher. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Lorene had a passion for animals and an amazing ability to connect with them. She never hesitated to open her home to a furry friend in need, creating a space filled with love for countless animals over the years. She often reminisced about the lively days of her youth when she had to dodge Fred, her dad's pet goose—a memory that brought smiles to those who heard it.
She was a lover of true crime shows and romance novels. She also had a special appreciation for good food—especially a perfectly grilled steak on the BBQ, which she relished as often as possible.
A Viewing & Funeral Service will be held on March 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Frye Chapel & Mortuary of Blythe 633 N. 7th St.
