BLUFFTONLorene Jamilkowski (Sliksbier) born August 27, 1955, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Long Island, New York, grew up in Newington, CT. and was a long time resident of Beaufort County, SC; She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Deschamp and her parents, Jerry John Sliksbier and Joan Kelly Sliksbier. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald J. Jamilkowski of Bluffton; sister, Cynthia Aliff (Sliksbier) and her husband, Alan Aliff of East Hampton, CT; her best friend from kindergarten, Denise Talbot of Bloomfield, CT; brother, Gregg Sliksbier and his girlfriend Jan Arthur of Newington, CT; beloved niece, Allysa Kelly Sliksbier, Allysa's mother, April Rogers and her husband, Kelly Rogers and Allysa's brother, Justin Rogers; she also leaves behind many friends and neighbors who stood by her side through her battle. The family would like to give thanks to Hospice Care of the Low Country for all their love and caring support.In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Hospice Care of the Low Country, P.O.
