Loretta's Obituary

Loretta Kay Haley age 81 of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was born August 22, 1944, daughter of John Smith Haley and Mattie Frances Agee Haley. She was a graduate of Watertown High School, class of 1962.

Loretta is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Bob Haley, children Wayne Yelverton, Jason (Heather) Haley, Justin (Jayrah) Haley. Grandchildren Emily (Tyler) Ausbrooks, Ashley (Drew) Creswell, Kelsey, Courtney and McKenzie Haley. Great grandchild Briggs Creswell. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Haley, sister-in-law Penny Haley and daughter-in-law Valerie Yelverton.

She worked as a bookkeeper and maintained their Century Farm. She was a member of Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was an ordained elder for Commerce Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A lover of antiques that she bought, sold and enjoyed displaying in her cabin. She volunteered at the Tennessee State Fair in Fiddler's Grove and was an essential part in creating The Heritage Barn Museum. Member of the Wilson County Garden Guild; she was wonderful with her garden, flowers and treasured her family.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday,  February 14, 2026 at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church with  Bro. Kevin Medlin officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Wilson County Humane Society.
