Dottie and Family, I first met Louie when I began working at OLMC. Throughout the years we had many early morning visits and I came to realize what a legend he was in Roseto. My heart felt condolence is out to the GOFFREDO family. I´ve known Louis a long time. We were members of the sewer authority and he was so active and so productive. Louis never stopped volunteering to help the church the community. Your spirit is always in my heart forever Louis May God bless you and keep you well in heaven so now you´re in peace and quiet and your loving memory will live on forever.

Louis's Obituary

Louis J. Goffredo, 94, of Roseto, passed away, Friday, February 28, 2025,at his residence. Husband of Dorothy B. (Baran) Goffredo, together theycelebrated their 69th wedding anniversary, June 4, 2024.

Born in Roseto, August 15, 1930, the son of the late John and Rose S.(Sabatine) Goffredo. Louis worked with his late brothers, Michael S., JohnR. and their sister Antoinette at the family business, John Goffredo &Sons, Inc.

A life member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Roseto, he loved tovolunteer at many church functions, including the Roseto Big Time, servingup many funnel cakes and fried Oreos. He enjoyed making Easter Bread at  Anthony’s during the season of Lent, while sharing many laughs and jokes with “the guys”.

A 4th degree Knight of the Fr. DeNisco Council # 3862, Bangor. He wasinstrumental in the construction of the K of C home. Louis served on theRoseto Sewer Authority, always willing to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, he is survived by two daughters, Mary KayWilliams and her husband AJ, Jacqueline L. Williamson and her husbandScott, a son Louis J. Goffredo and his wife Cindy. Nine grandchildren,Nathan C. Williams (Megan), Ross A. Williams (Nikole) , Ian LWilliams(Erica), Erin L. Williamson, Amy E. Williamson, Emily R.Ahearn(Drew), Kyle L. Goffredo (Stephanie), Natalie Goffredo and ZacharyGoffredo, six great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, AnnaSabia, Antoinette Goffredo and Roseann Lopiano, and two brothers, MichaelS. Goffredo and John R. Goffredo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 3rd and Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto. Therewill be viewing hours ONLY, Thursday evening beginning at 6 PM until 8 PMat the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl. Entombment will follow Mass at the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Roseto.
