Not sure what to say?

Snookie was a long time friend and the best mechanic who ever worked on my cars. Condolences to his wife Jennie and family. Bob & Irma

Louis was the best mechanic in all of Tiverton. I purchased some old cars from his garage back in the 1960's and I still own them today. R.I.P. My good friend!

Moe Stebenne, Tiverton

Snookie will be missed. His dogged determination was a sight to behold. Condolences to all the family.

My Dad, Arthur (Ted) Allie and myself send our sincere condolences. Snookie was always so enjoyable to be around and always had a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed. Our thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time.

Louis's Obituary

Louis J. "Snookie" LaTulippe Jr., 86, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Dover, New Hampshire.

Born on January 8, 1939, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Louis lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a deep passion for mechanics and classic automobiles. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years and continued his commitment to service with eleven additional years in the National Guard.

He was an enthusiastic member of the Down Shifters Antique Car Club and also participated in The Bristol County Snowriders club. These communities brought him great joy and camaraderie throughout the years.

Louis’s faith was a guiding force in his life. A devoted Catholic, he began his spiritual journey as an altar boy at St. Louis de France Church and remained committed to his beliefs throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennie LaTulippe; his son, Louis J. LaTulippe III; daughters Lynn LaTulippe and Lori Morrell and her husband Dennis Morrell; and four cherished grandchildren: Louis J. LaTulippe IV, Lauren LaTulippe, Adam Morrell, and Ashley Morrell.
