A gathering of remembrance for Louis Ray Vaughn, 86, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Harvey Douglas Centennial Chapel.
Louis was born August 22, 1939 in Ardmore. He was the son of the late William C. and Murty Lurene Phipps Vaughn. He passed from this life on January 18, 2026 in a local hospital.
Louis worked for the City of Ardmore at the wastewater treatment plant for over 30 years.
He is survived by his son Marshall Vaughn and his wife Patricia; adopted son Roy Howell; brothers, Frankie and Ricky Vaughn, his grandchildren, Thomas, Amelia and Tristan and a great granddaughter Kayla Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Betty and Rosella; brothers, Raymond, Don, John and Sam and sisters, Lois Southerland and Billie Shephard.
