Lowell's Obituary

Lowell Wilburn, 76, of Jamestown, Indiana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 18, 2025. Born on September 12, 1949, in Fount, KY, Lowell was the son of the late Mildred Haubner and Charles Wilburn.

He graduated from Granville Wells High School in 1967, then answered the call to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He founded Wilburn’s Sales and Service in 1986, later becoming Wilburn’s Custom’s, a business that gained recognition for the restoration of vintage Ford Broncos. Justin will continue his legacy.

Lowell leaves behind his beloved wife and partner-in-all-things, Tina Marie Wilburn, whom he married on October 12th, 1985; two sons, Justin (Symantha) Wilburn and Jeremy (Spring) Wilburn; four sisters, Wilma McDonald, Irene Bumgardner, Rita Holiday and Betty Pike; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the American Legion and if you were ever lucky enough to hear him sing karaoke, play cards or see him in the casino you probably have a story to tell.

The family sends heartfelt thanks to the incredible team at Paradigm Hospice for their care, compassion, and kindness.

A celebration of Lowell’s life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the American Legion Post #331 in Brownsburg, Indiana. Porter & Hunt Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with his care.
