Not sure what to say?

Tara, Van Toji
We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Ms. Lucinda. She was a great friend to our mother, Corine Jones. Ms. Lucinda was always the same every time I saw her, she never changed. Your mom has always been a loving person. We send our condolences and will continue to keep your family in our prayers. Peace and Blessings, Jan, Dorene, Sherri, Tonya, Darrell.

Lucinda's Obituary

LUCINDA was the one of ten children born to the late Clifton Sr. and Mildred Davis and was raised from very humble beginnings. She was showered with so much love and affection, spoiled to the core by close family and friends, but mostly by her Granny Moma Lucy, Aunt Lucille and Uncle Muffin. She received her education in Midway Elementary and Simmons High School in Versailles, Kentucky.

After relocating to Lexington she became a member of Greater Liberty Baptist Church. She loved her church family and her church family loved her.

Lucinda retired from Square D, Palumbo Properties as a caregiver and as a Property Manager. Some of her enjoyable things to do was cooking, traveling, slot machines, gardening, dressing, sitting on the front porch, and playing spades. She never met a stranger.

If she were here today, she would say something like this: “I won’t be here forever.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elnora Russell and Vivian Taylor; and five brothers, Roy, Lamar, Wade, Clifton Jr. (Jake) and Manuel Davis.

She is survived by her three children, Tara Davis, Van Davis and Toji Davis (Laton); grandchildren, Bryan Turnage, Regan Etterington and Bianca Davis; two sisters, Victoria Davis and Wah Wah (Calvin) Rideau; and a host of nieces and nephews. In our hearts, Moma, you hold a special place in our hearts.
