Lucinda K. Peebles
Age 58, of Minerva passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Canterbury Villa in Alliance. She was born May 15, 1967 in Canton to Beverly (White) Hazen of Minerva and the late James Hazen. She was a registered nurse working at several area nursing homes including Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She graduated from Minerva High School and the Excelsior College of Nursing.
In addition to her mother, Bev, she is survived by her husband, Donald Peebles whom she married July 11, 2015, daughter, Samantha Jordan of Columbus, son, James Jordan of Columbus, 2 step-sons, Josh (Brittny) Peebles of Carrollton, Dale (Elizabeth) Peebles of Waynesburg, sister, Lori (Darrell) Lawson of Minerva, 4 step-grandchildren, Josh, Nic, Claire and Jensen and many nieces and nephews including, Ken (Kristi) Lawson and Joseph (Ashley) Lawson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Peggy Garner officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 2 hours prior to services from 11am to 1 pm at the funeral home. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
