Lucy's Obituary

Lucy C. Feriod, of Langhorne, passed peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center with her loving family at her side.Born and raised in Huntingdon Valley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Adelina Cataldo. Lucy was 84 years old.She graduated from Lower Moreland High School in the class of 1944.Lucy resided resided in Langhorne for over 60 years and was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Grace parish.Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Joseph, Philip and Anthony.Lucy is survived by John C. Feriod, the love of her life, her beloved husband of 64 years.She is also survived by her devoted children: John (Laura) of Glassboro, NJ, Michael (Susan) of Hulmeville and Mary Lou (the late Ronald J. Sears) of Penndel.Lucy leaves behind her adored grandchildren Kevin, Jayme (Josh), Jodi, Maggi (Matt), Shayne, Tyler, Michelle, Colleen, Krista (Steven) and Amy and 2 beautiful great grandchildren Gabriel and Nylah.She will also be sadly missed by her sisters and sisters-in-law Fanny (Silve Buccello), Margaret (Thomas Malloy), Adeline (Joseph Sorace), Millie Ejdys, Betty Feriod, and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Ave., Penndel where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Shrine, 512 West Saratoga St.,
