Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Lucy's passing. Prayers and comfort to her family.
I had the pleasure of working with Lucy at Ft Monroe. She was an exceptional person and a dedicated worker and respected by everyone.
May God Bless you all.

I have so many fond childhood memories of growing up in Briarwood Terrace with Lucy and her sisters. My heart is saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

My heart goes out to the Darden family. Lucy will be greatly missed. I have many memories while visiting my friend Stephanie, and boy could Lucy laugh. I will never forget that laugh. My prayers are with her husband, daughter and the Darden sisters. Rest in Peace Lucy and share your laughter with heaven.

Lucy was my sister but she was so much more than that.Lucy was the anchor and the glue that more often than not kept things together.Lucy spent most of her life being a second Mother to me and my siblings.Lucy just always seemed to take care of things.I will always be grateful for her love and support and especially for carrying me when I lost my way.She was the best Big sister anyone could ever be blessed enough to have and I will be eternally grateful that God gave her to us.With the...

To all of Lucy's family, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. We were childhood friends who shared many good times growing up in Briarwood Terrace. It has been a while since I have seen her, but we did meet several years ago for lunch along with our friend Susan. It was nice to catch up and talk about old times. I will always remember her smile and giggle! I know she was loved and will be greatly missed. I will keep you all in my thoughts and I am lifting prayers to our Lord to bring peace...

Lucy was my cousin. She was always joy and kindness. Being a fellow introvert (but also friendly) I always enjoyed our time spent growing up in Smithfield and then visiting in Hampton. The times were wonderful as her beautiful soul was always expressive and genuine. Her memory will remain dear to me.

Lucy was a wonderful lady. I will always remember her kindness, laughter, and energy! She was so fun to be around!
