Luis Roel Salinas “Roy”, 64, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Harlingen, Texas.
Roy was born on July 1, 1961 in Alice, Texas to Guadalupe Salinas and Imelda Gonzalez.
He is preceded in death by his mom, Imelda Gonzalez; dad, Guadalupe Salinas; sister, Evita Salinas; and brother, Guadalupe Salinas, Jr. "Tookie”.
Roy leaves behind his loving family to cherish his wonderful memory, his sisters, Elvira (Ramon) Gonzalez from La Feria, TX, his sister, Sonia (Spence) Jones from San Antonio, TX; stepmom, Elida Salinas from San Antonio, TX; and his stepdad, Romeo Gonzalez from Edinburg, TX. He will be deeply missed by all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
On behalf of the family, we would like to thank his provider, Letty Reyna from Santa Rosa, TX, for everything she did for Luis Roel Salinas "Roy". We are very grateful for your services.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August, 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
