Lydia's Obituary
Cumberland,Lydia A. (Kern) Yacino, 47 of Hilltop Road passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Richard A. Yacino Jr.Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Marlis (Tolle) Kern. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.Lydia was a graduate of Cumberland High School and a 1989 graduate of Quinnipiac University. She was employed for the past 24 years as a business operations manager for VNA of RI.Besides her husband she is survived by her sister Silvia Jette and a brother Robert Kern and his wife Debra all of Cumberland. She leaves three nieces; Jillian Kern, Annemarie Yacino, Marybeth Yacino and three nephews Kevin Jette, Peter Jette and Gregory Kern all of Cumberland. She was also the daughter in law of Richard and Lucille Yacino of Cumberland and the sister in law of David and Karen Yacino of Cumberland. She also leaves several aunts and cousins. A Celebration of her life will be held Friday at 9 AM followed by a service at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Thursday 5 to 8 PM.
