Lynda's Obituary

Lynda Arlene Brookman, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 19th. Born with a vibrant spirit and a nurturing heart, Lynda touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, Thomas Brookman, whose partnership was a testament to true love and devotion.

Lynda is survived by her four cherished children: Jessica Brookman, Rachel Brookman-Duronslet (Joe), Michael Brookman, and James Brookman (Erica), each of whom carry forward her kindness and warmth. She was a proud grandmother to four delightful grandchildren—Noah, Nora, Leo, and Faeryn—who brought immense joy to her life and were the light of her later years.

In addition to her immediate family, Lynda is predeceased by her father, Michael Gagliardi and mother, Norma (Rienzo) Gagliardi, and, is survived by her dear sister, Ronnyann Massa (Philip), with whom she shared countless memories and a bond that transcended time.

Lynda's passions were as varied as her talents. She found great joy in cooking, often filling her home with the delightful aromas of her culinary creations. Her love for gardening allowed her to cultivate not only beautiful flowers and plants but also a sense of peace and tranquility that enveloped her home. An animal lover at heart, Lynda cherished her many cats and dogs, who were always by her side and part of the family.

Lynda's legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends will be deeply missed. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her memory will be celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
