Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Lynda ( Mrs Claus) was always so supportive and helpful at our UAW 5960 Christmas parties. Her smile and kindness to the kids will be missed.

It's impossible to think of Lynda and not recall all of the kind, thoughtful and creative ways in which she touched children in my classroom after she retired. What a generous heart! I will miss our long text conversations about life, family and the world. Her love for her family was evident in every conversation and my prayers are with you all. She'll be missed by so many. RIP, my dear friend.

Our love and thoughts and our prayers are with you Donald and the family. May our Lord comfort you and the family as you all go through this day.
Wish we could be there to give you a hugs. Lynda will be truly miss. Heaven got another good one. She was a great friend, teacher and she gave us many wonderful memories.
With all our Love,
Bruce and Lina Soper and family.

Lynda was one of the sweetest, most creative, and most inspiring teachers. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word on her lips. May she rest in peace❤

Lynda was one of the most gracious and giving people I have ever known. We will miss her but know how much of her continues through Don and the kids. Big hugs to everyone.

She was a great neighbor. And her Christmas cookies were so good! Going to miss seeing her sitting on her porch working on something! One hot day she called my mom over and they had ice cold lemonade together. She will be missed.

Don, Darcy, family and extended family. Very sorry about your loss. Lynda was someone I could relate to sometimes more than others around me. We triumphed and felt loss similarly, more than probably either of us ever knew. Renee Fraley former Lakeland Presbyterian member.

We are so sad to lose you but I know you will have all the angels doing crafts! From knitting animals to painting rocks. You will live in our hearts and we will see you again when God calls for us. We love you Lynda! Diana and Jeff Dubiel

Lynda was my son Jason’s second grade teacher in kindergarten at Johnson Elementary in 1982. See was a wonderful person and a fantastic nurturing teacher. She was always so happy and uplifting and also so very talented. She will be truly missed. We need more people and teachers like her in this world!!

Lynda's Obituary

FOOTE, Lynda L. of Milford; born May 20, 1955, to the late Elwin and Shirley Levitt in Pontiac, MI; passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 70.

Beloved wife of Donald Foote for 36 years; loving mother of Linnea Bassin, Kylee Foote, Daniel (Miranda) Foote, and Nina (Brittney) Foote; proud grandmother of Austin (Chloe) Foote, Elisabeth Bassin, and Alexandria Bassin; and dear sister of Darcy (Steve) Martin.

Lynda worked as an elementary school teacher at the Huron Valley School District for 37 years. She dedicated her life helping children and that included refurbishing “American Girl Dolls” for children within the school community. Lynda was a very crafty person at heart. She was a gifted painter; she could recreate anything just by looking at it. Lynda was also an avid Lego master. She found joy in other crafts such as knitting, sewing, cross stitching, pottery and embroidery. She also had a love for camping. Lynda was a devout Christian that enjoyed participating in Bible study. Besides her creativity and craftiness, she will be remembered for the joy she brought during the holidays with her and her husband, Donald, playing the role of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
