My heart is breaking. Mabel has been my friend and mentor since I was about 26 years old. She taught me so much in those early years. I can truly say she helped make me into the person I am today. Through the years we have had sad times and happy times together. We could laugh together and cry together. These late years her mind has remained as sharp as ever. I loved Mabel and will miss her so much. Definitely an empty place in my life now.
