Mable leaves to cherish her memories four children: Angela, Nathaniel, Chad & Kashawn (Taron) Cobbins, three brothers: Elbert, Timmie & Norman Cobbins, six sisters: Opah, Pearlie, Wanda, Jeanette, Cheryl Cobbins & Carolyn (Anthony) Holmes, twelve grandchildren: Carl, Cornell, Theltus, Nathaniel, Mya, Chadsity, Chelsea, Chana, Sheldon, Alfred, Kechelle Cobbins & Corey Mitchell, ten great grandchildren: Alniya, Josiah, Chanell, Rynell, Ma’lanie, Kayden & Wyn Cobbins, Glorian Wallace & Nathan & Nazsir Anderson, one uncle: Robert Johnson, & one daughter in love: Valerie Anderson. Dearest Friends: Shirley & Evelyn “Dee” Wallace. Mable also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Mable is preceded in death by her father and mother Willie James & Rosie Lee Cobbins, grandparents: Sydney & Flossy Johnson, companion: Daymond Toney, three brothers: J.W., Deotis & Elijah Cobbins, grandson: Nathan Anderson, uncles: Earl & C.W. Johnson, two aunts: Elnora Johnson & Minnie Lee Ford, three nephews: Ronnie McElveen, Cornelius & Raymond Cobbins, one niece: Monica McElveen Varnado, two cousins: Olivia & Neal Ford, one brother in love: Anthony Holmes. Services will be held on March 7, 2026, at Second Bethlehem Baptist Church, 3016 College Court, New Orleans, La 70125. Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. and service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Providence Memorial Park, New Orleans, La.
