Magdalena's Obituary

Magdalena Garcia Gonzalez (Nena, Maggie). Maggie was born on October 21, 1925 to the late Juanita and Pedro Garcia. She passed away on April 1, 2023. Maggie was one of seven children, Armando, Alfred, Robert, Esperanza, William and Tony. Maggie grew up in El Paso, Texas and moved to California as a teenager. Her grandmothers were Mariana and Barbarita. Loving mother to her daughter, Helen (son in law Theo), beloved grandmother to her grandchildren Helen(Chance), Theo(Tracee), Nick(Janeice), Chris(Nicole) and great grandchildren, Sage, Kaitlyn, Megan, Aaron, Taylor, Julia, Dylan, Gianna, Alexander and Olivia. Aunt to nieces and nephews. In her younger years Maggie enjoyed traveling to Europe, Mexico and the Holy Land. Her favorite getaways were to Reno and River Rock Casino. Maggie loved her family, music, and baseball. She loved to laugh. Maggie enjoyed cooking her specialty tamales at Christmas for her family. She will forever live in the hearts of her family. Friends are invited to attend the Rosary service on

April 26, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.

at Adobe Creek Funeral Home at

331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma. Friends are also invited to attend a noon mass at St. Vincent’s Church in Petaluma, followed by Inurnment immediately following the noon mass at Petaluma Calvary Cemetery. Memorials in Maggie’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
