Not sure what to say?

I have good memories of Manuel. I pray the Lord comfort you and your family.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

You were my favorite uncle as a child. I loved staying at your house babysitting your son and helping my aunt. You will truly be missed. Thank you for that wonderful memory. Rest in peace.

Manuel's Obituary

On December 31st, 2025 Manuel "Pops" Carrero Badillo age 80 of Camden NJ passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side in his home.

Born in Aguada, Puerto Rico 1945. He moved to New Jersey in his early 20s. He is survived by his 2 sons Angel (Gina) Carrero, Joel Carrero, he was the proud grandfather to Dionisio & Dominico Carrero. Manuel will be sadly missed by his 2 brothers Antonio, Carlos Laabes 7 sisters Natalia, Mercedes, Anna, Julia, Olga, Maria, Teresa, and many nieces and nephews.

Manuel worked as a forklift driver for over 25 years. He retired and lived his life on his terms. He was a kind man and enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed washing his neighbor's cars and made them look so clean that they'd always come back.  I caught my father working on his roof making repairs at his elderly age.  Pops always had a big heart for his small stature.  He loved to take walks at Cherry Hill Mall.  Enjoyed buying new tools at Home Depot.  Loved to buy clothes at Walmart.

He will be truly loved and missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church 2818 River Road, Camden NJ 08105
