Manuel's Obituary
Reflection of LifeManuel Hugh Ramseur, was born on April 18, 1949 in Catawba County, North Carolina, to the late Johnson Willie Hugh Ramseur and Alice Reinhart. He departed this life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, after a brief illness.
He grew up in Newton, North Carolina, where he attended both Central and Fred T.Ford High Schools. He was employed at MDI for over 20 years after which he worked forWalmart as a maintenance worker until he retired. He was a faithful member of Exodus Missionary Outreach Church since its conception in 1997, where he served on the finance committee. He loved to spend his free time woodworking and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers, George Ramseur and Allen Ramseur; sisters, Lucille Ussery and Madeline Ramseur.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anner Brown Ramseur of the home; a sister, Linda Ramseur of Conover, North Carolina; and a brother, Leonard Ramsuer of Newton, North Carolina; along with a host of nieces andnephews.
He was a loving and devoted husband to Anner for more than 54 years. Through the years they weathered many storms as well as good times together and always reminded one another of their never ending love, with Anner saying "I love you madly". Manny would reply with "I love you gladly!”
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Exodus Missionary Outreach Church of Christ 1763 Highland Avenue, Hickory, North Carolina.
