Dad, today is three since you, re laid to rest, I.ve been trying to be strong. But I can't I miss so much. When I went to your house we would sit outside and talked, now the back yard is empty without you. I will miss you so much. Love your daughter josefina how u use to call me.

Manuel A. Rios Sr. born on June 27, 1931 in Staple, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2013 at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by his two granddaughters, Sandra Monica, and Josie Monica Urista; parents, Patricia Arredondo Rios,and Felix M. Rios Sr.; 3 sisters: Aristella Rios, Refugia Esquivel and Angelita Rodriguez and 2 brothers: Juan Rios and Pedro Rios. Manuel is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Maria Rios; children: Manuel Rios Jr. and Sandra Orta, Fernando and Diana Rios, Guadalupe Rios, Sylvia Rios and George Valdez, Edward and Diana H. Rios, Gloria Rios and Andres Chavez, Frank Rios and Patty Vasquez, Josie and Ray Ibrahim, Alex and Cynthia Rios, and Jesse Rios and Kristine Cavazos; brother, Felix Rios Jr.; sisters, Patricia Reyes and husband Mario, Elvira Palacios, Maria Tolontino; 34 grandchildren; 37 great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended loving family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Hillcrest Chapel. Procession will depart Hillcrest on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 9:30 AM for 10:00 AM Mass at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Wildflower Memorial Park.
