Marc Christian Brown, 37, of Melbourne, passed away on August 19, 2025. The viewing will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 12:00 - 1:00PM at Church of Christ at Florida Avenue. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00PM.

Marc Christian Brown and his twin brother, Matthew Demetrius Brown, were born on October 7, 1987, to Alfonzo and Tina Brown in New Hartford, New York. In November 1995, the Brown family relocated to Melbourne, Florida, where Marc would spend the rest of his life.Marc departed this life on August 19, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Alfonzo and Tina Brown; his twin brother, Matthew Brown; his beloved daughter, Desirae “His Peanut” Hanavan, along with her grandparents Cheryl and Corey Sams; his niece, Aiyana Brown; and his sister/cousin, Brenda Monroe-Carr.He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Juanita Monroe; uncles Bernard “Ricky” Monroe and Howard Carr (Tina) of Utica, NY; aunts LaVerne Kemp (Pastor Grady Kemp) and Michele “Becky” Jackson (Jonathan) of Utica, NY; his godmother, Michele Butcher (G-Ma); and God-sisters Kimberly and Crystal Billins of Palm Bay, Florida. He leaves behind his great-aunt Dorothy Blair of North Carolina and great-uncle Archie Evans of Utica, NY. Marc’s best friend, Ryan Wallace (Brooke), and a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends will also miss him deeply.Marc was educated in the Melbourne, Florida school system and was employed by Wallace Air Conditioning and Heating as an Air Conditioning Technician.Marc had an incredible spirit—full of life, laughter, and love. He was the life of every party and had a unique ability to bring joy to any situation. His presence made others feel special, and his heart of gold led him to give freely to anyone in need. He was an avid skateboarder, a passionate basketball player, and a devoted “mama’s boy.” Above all, he adored his daughter Rae, who was the light of his life.A die-hard New York Giants fan, Marc proudly followed in his father’s footsteps. He was thrilled that the Giants had won all three of their preseason games and was eagerly anticipating the upcoming NFL season, convinced that “Big Blue” was headed to the Super Bowl.Marc was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Almisher Carr; aunts Marilene Smalls and Eula Mae Carr; uncles Curtis Carr Sr., Lee Carr Sr., Jerry Bryant, Willie “Ted” Carr, and Earnest “Bernard” Bryant; maternal grandfather, Albert Monroe Sr.; aunt Lorine Monroe; and Uncle Albert “Chucky” Monroe Jr.Marc’s affectionate laugh, generous heart, and vibrant soul will be missed beyond measure. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
