Marcella Faye Calendar, age 86 and a resident of Verona Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 9th, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center in Edgewood. Born May 31, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Atha.
Marcella is survived by two sons: Wesley Smith and Rodney Calendar of Verona; two daughters: Sandra Reed and Renee’ Coghill of Warsaw and one brother: Bobby Atha of Williamstown. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 18th, at 4pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. There will be a time of fellowship from 2pm until 4pm.
