Marcia's Obituary

Marcia Smicker, 65, of Whitehall, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at home. Marci and her husband, Glenn, celebrated 42 years of marriage. Born March 23, 1959, in Allentown, she was a daughter of Stella (Panny) and the late John Lubenetski. Marci earned an associate degree in childcare from Northampton Community College. She was the owner and operator of a daycare for many years. Marci then began working in the paint industry with Sobrinski Painting. In 2013, she branched off and became a co-owner of L&M Painting that she helped run for the last 12 years. Marci was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall. She loved the beach and listening to music. Her family was her center, providing her such joy every day.

In addition to her mother and husband, Marci is survived by her children, Kyle and wife, Daron, Ryan and wife, Tiffany, and Rachel and boyfriend, Drake; grandchildren, Saige, Ethan, and Wyatt; siblings, Diane, John and wife, Bev, Nancy and husband, Albert, Tom and wife, Karen, and her twin brother, Mark and wife, Nancy; and several nieces and nephews. 

Services: A prayer service will be held on Monday, June 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Holy Trinity Church or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Marci’s memory. Online condolences may be offered below.
