Not sure what to say?

A truly grand lady whose stories of family history were wonderful to listen to. A force of nature, she will be missed.

She was a devoted mother and inspiration to her large family.

I extend my sympathy to Maura Grunlund and all her family. Your mom was an outstanding woman and you have emulated her in your journalistic vocation. Love and peace Gloria Tepper Staten Island NY

Margadette was my idol. A great attorney and mother. She was part of the Ignatian Associates and always willing to share her time and advice. She was truly inspirational and will be missed.

Mark, Maura, Meghan and Jimmy - we are so sorry to hear the news of Margadette’s passing. She was an extraordinary woman who inspired us in many ways. We were all so very fond of her. All our very best to you and the family. Sending our prayers with love, Sherri, Gerard, Breann and Conor.

Don, your mother’s many achievements, care and compassion are unmatched. What a role model for all. She will be dearly missed.
We send our deepest sympathies,

I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I always enjoyed seeing her in court, and my mom saw her as a role model for continuing to practice law well past “retirement age.” My deepest condolences to your family.
