Margaret Bajzath

West Amwell Township – Margaret Bajzath, age 89, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at her home in West Amwell.Born in Hungary, she immigrated as a teenager to the United States and lived and worked in New York for many years. She met her husband, John, while living in New York and the two later moved to Trenton where they owned and operated Broad Imports. Margaret and John built their house in West Amwell the mid 1960's, and she has lived there since. Margaret was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Lambertville for many years. Always trying new recipes, her passion was cooking and baking her many famous meals, especially cookies for her grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents and her husband of 50 years in 2009, John Bajzath, Margaret is survived her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Glenn Palaschak of Ewing, NJ, her son, John Bajzath Jr. of West Amwell, her sister, Helen Zibrinyi of Erie, PA, and her brother-in-law and wife, Joseph and Anne Bajzath of Haledon, NJ. She is also survived her grandchildren, Glenn and his wife, Erica, Cindy, Jamie, Christy and her husband, Glenn, and Amy, her great-granddaughter, Kaitlin, as well as four nieces, Kathy, JoAnne, Margaret and Ellen.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, July 21, 2014, at St. Agnes R.C. Church, South Main Street, Stockton, NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Trenton, NJ. Family and friends may call from 9 to 10 am at Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St., Rt 179, Lambertville, NJ 08530. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 44 Bridge St. Lambertville, NJ 08530
