Margaret LuEllen Davis Loftin, 85, of Henrietta, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Franks, officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gilliland Cemetery in Knox County under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral of Wichita Falls.
Margaret was born on April 5, 1940 in Post Oak, Jack County, Texas to the late Joe E. and Emma Lois Davis. She was the youngest of seven children. Growing up, they lived in Gilliland, Burnett, and Munday Texas. Margaret graduated from Munday High School in 1958 and married Taz OD Wallace on April 5, 1959. Following his death in 1984, she married rancher Lynn Loftin of Graham, Texas in May 1994. She worked for many years in the banking industry, and spent her later years as a rancher, tending cattle.
Margaret enjoyed dancing, traveling, fishing, and was an avid reader. She loved her family; her grandsons were her pride and joy and she enjoyed being involved in all of their activities.
Along with her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by seven siblings Maurice Davis, Doyle Davis, Elvis Davis, Eloise Horne, Loyd Davis, Shirley Meharg, and Jimmy Dale Davis; and her two husbands OD Wallace and Lynn Loftin.
Margaret is survived by her two sons, Taz Gregory Wallace and wife, Johnette of Iowa Park and Gary Michael Wallace of Henrietta; three grandsons, Taz Carter Wallace of Dallas, Taylor Christian Wallace of Iowa Park, and Tristan Caleb Wallace of College Station; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Wichita Falls 4909 Johnson Rd, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310 would be greatly appreciated.
Serving as Honorary pall bearers are her sons, daughter in law, and grandsons.
