Belle Maria and Beth and the Iallonardo family. Bruce and I send you our thoughts and condolences on the passing of your mother Margaret. We loved seeing her smile at the Italian American Clubs functions she will be missed and loved.

Maria, Beth, Aubreanna, and family. We are so sorry to hear the news of your Mother/Grandmother. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Beth, Maria and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Cherish the memories of your mom and grand mother.

Beth, I am saddened by your loss. Having lost my dad in January, I know well the sorrow you feel. The sweet memories will eventually assuage the pain. Blessings.

Margaret's Obituary

Margaret (Anderson) lallonardo, 81, of Duluth died peacefully on June 24, 2013 surrounded by her family after a short illness.Margaret was born July 23, 1931 in Port Wing, WI to Carl and Anna Anderson. She graduated from Port Wing High School in 1949 and was the class Valedictorian. After high school, Margaret move to Duluth in 1953 and went to work for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. as a business manager. Margaret has worked 42 years as a Senior Coordinator for Shaklee Home Health Products. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Duluth Heights. She was also amember of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian American Club and the Red Hats.She also sponsored many organizations throughout the years, some of whichwere Animal Allies, Food Shelf, Salvation Army, Gillette Children's Hospital, just to name a few.She thoroughly enjoyed treasure hunting whether by buying or guarding the cart,especially with her daughter Maria. She took pride in her garden each year and enjoyed sharing of her harvest. She was an avid baker and was especially known for her personalized birthday cakes,caramel rolls, homemade donut holes and her famous Mexican wedding cakes. She had a great musical talent which included playing the piano and singing.She enjoyed traveling with her sister-in-laws, Karen and Joan and most of alltravelling with her only grandchild, Aubreanna on the many trips takenthroughout the years but her heart was always with the family "Home 40" in PortWing, Wisconsin.She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Anna Anderson, her husband,Pasquale "Pasco" and her infant daughter, Deanna. She is also preceded in deathby her sisters, Vivian and Helen and brothers, Bob and Carl "Dossie" Anderson.She is survived by her daughters, Maria lallonardo of Duluth; Elizabeth "Beth" (Brad Chambers)lallonardo of Cloquet; her sons. Jay Pascoe of Alexandria, VA and Jamie Pascoe ofDuluth; and granddaughter, Aubreanna Iallonardo of Cloquet. She isalso survived by her brothers, Delmer (Lorraine) Anderson of Northome,Minnesota and Walfred "Wally" (Karen) Anderson of Port Wing, Wisconsin, sister-in-law, Joan Anderson and many nieces and nephews who she was very fond of,and, of course, you can not forget her furry companions, White Kitty and BlackKitty.Our Mom was a strong and powerful woman and will be deeply missed by her family, and many friends she met along the way through her smile and laughter. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7pm with Wake Prayers at 6:30pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 W 3rd St. Duluth. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
