Phillip, Jessica we have never met but your Mom was quite the character years ago. I was very sad to hear of her passing. My heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Marguerite Ann's Obituary

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the sudden passing of Marguerite Ann Sophocleous 'Maggie' on Feb. 21, 2015, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Euphemia (MacDougall) Gale.Maggie is survived by her children, Phillip and Jessica and sisters, Mary (Bobby) Myers and Cecelia Shaw.Besides her parents Maggie was predeceased by her brother Larry Gale and sister-in-law Marie Gale-MacInnis.Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Maggie will be on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Thursday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, Sydney, with Fr. Jim Oliver officiating. Interment to take place at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery.Donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.Online condolences may be sent to our web page at www.chantfuneralhome.com."There is a sacredness in tears.
