Maria Boukis

February 16. 1937 - February 22, 2019

Maria was a friend to everyone she met, a blessing and a source of life and strength to all who knew her. Her greatest pride was her family, including her four grandchildren who she completely and unconditionally adored. Her passion for life and her faith have filled us with many fond memories. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. May her memory be eternal. 

Services will be held at Ascension Greek Orthodox Cathedral | 4700 Lincoln Avenue, Oakland. Trisagion service: 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 28, followed by a coffee hour. Funeral service: 11:00 am, Friday, March 1. Internment to follow funeral service at Oakmont Memorial Park | 2099, Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette; Makaria memorial lunch to follow internment at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church | 1700 School Street, Moraga.  

Flowers should be delivered to the Ascension Cathedral Thursday February 28, 2019 by 5:00 pm.
