Maria was born February 22, 1963 in Ellis, Texas and was a longtime resident of Randlett, Oklahoma. She was the beloved daughter of Federico Garcia, and Martina Espinoza Ramos. She was married to the love of her life, Ventura Ramos. Together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and strong bonds.
Maria was a hard-worker, and was loved by many. She had a personality that was truly one of a kind—interesting, strong, and always able to make others laugh. She was the kind of person who would give you her last if you needed it. To her family, she was a superwoman—a devoted wife, loving mother, and the best grandmother any grandbaby could ever ask for.
Her favorite color was blue, and she loved music and dancing. Maria worked as a CNA at Colonial Village Nursing Home, where she proudly worked alongside her mother, sister, and nieces. She also worked for many years at Superior Pallets in Burkburnett.
Maria loved western wear, and had a special love for her collection of roosters. She enjoyed all holidays, but Christmas was her favorite, a time when her love for family truly shined.
Maria will be remembered for her strength, generosity, laughter, and unconditional love. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, and the family she cherished so deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Freddy Garcia; and sister Sylvia Calistro.
Maria is survived by children Maria DeJesus Gates, Ventura Ramos Jr., and Jamie Lee Davila; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply and cherished with all her heart. She is also survived by brothers Steven Garcia and Frank Gutierrez; sisters Rita Garcia Leal, Corina Flores, and Janie Morelos; along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
