Marian E. Sandbothe

I had Marian as my American History teacher when I was in 11th grade (1963-64) at Danville High in Illinois. She encouraged me to write and praised a research paper I had written on the Civil Rights moment. I became an historian and wanted to tell her I have another new book coming out, That's how I just discovered, belatedly, that she had passed away. She was a good teacher for me, and very nice, We had been in contact over the years, but not often enough.

Marian was a gracious lady who was married to our mother's cousin, Norbert. May you rest in peace Marian.

So sorry for your loss. I disnt know your mother but lived close to the farm and lake and spent many hours talking with your dad. I am sure she missed him
