Not sure what to say?

Doctor Gan brought smiles to our faces through the hardest of times in our journey as nursing students. She challenged us and wholeheartedly supported us. Her passion for life shining through each moment. We will carry the values she taught us throughout our careers and our lives. To Doctor Gan's family and friends, Valley nursing students are sending our love and strength to you during this time.

I will never forget the way Dr. Gan called me her “Class President” and believed in me when I was fearful and lacked faith in myself. Her encouragement pushed me to grow into a better version of who I am today. One thing was certain, I worked hard to never let her down.

She inspired me to always be present and to give back, helping others the way she selflessly helped so many. She was the truest example of what a Mother, Professor, Nurse, Colleague, and Friend should be.

To me, Dr. Gan was a rare treasure, someone whose impact reached far beyond her work and whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone she encountered.

Dr. Gan embodied true compassion. She had a remarkable gift for seeing the best in people, encouraging us to rise to our full potential, and guiding us with wisdom and patience. Her dedication to her students and colleagues was unwavering. She never saw teaching as just imparting knowledge, it was about shaping lives, building...

I am so sorry to hear about Professor Gan and my condolences to the family. I didn’t have the chance to be in her class in person, but I was fortunate to experience her teaching through Zoom a few times. She was always attentive, kind, caring, and truly devoted to her students. I believe she will continue to watch over us as we grow and shine into the nurses she inspired us to be. May she rest peacefully and her memory live on through stories and our hearts.

Not sure what can be said about someone who poured so much of themselves into bettering the lives of others. The world shines a little less brightly, because you're not in it. The nursing profession is a little less compassionate without you- but your passion, dedication and kindness live on in every student you've so patiently taught. You will be immensely missed.

My condolences to the berieved family.
Eternal rest grant unto Marichu, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her, May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
