RIP, Mrs. Jackson. An amazing teacher and friend. I remember how she quietly but fervently took care of her students at the school for the blind on Government Street. She also told me of the students she had at the school for the blind at Southern University. She was one of the mentors for me when I came aboard at LSVI on Government Street.
