It is with very sad hearts that we extend our condolences to the family of Marie “Pie” Overton. Pie, 55, of Tchula, Mississippi, closed his eyes the rest forever, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at home surrounded by family.

The public visitation will be Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Belzoni, MS.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 8, 2025, 11:00 am, at Rose Hill MB Church, Tchula, MS. 

The burial will be at the Sutton Cemetery, Belzoni, MS.

Marie is survived by her son, Lavoska Overton, daughters, Brittany Watts & Patricia Watts, brothers, Kevin Overton, Jerome Overton & Lamar Overton, sisters, Sandra Overton & Latonya Overton, grandchildren, others relatives and friends.
