Not sure what to say?

Long story shortI grew to love you like a mom. You are so kind and gentle. I have to remind myself, that you didn’t die. You graduated this life and now you are on to another life making a home for all of us when we get there. Dad was able to see you for the short prayer service up north. Kim and Michelle are ok. Everyone will always alright, until they see you again to be wrapped back into a family. Love you lady. Please kiss my family when you meet them and save a space for me.

Marie's Obituary

Marie Weynand, age 76 went to be with the Lord on Thursday June 15, 2023.  Her death was sudden and unexpected after just recently being diagnosed with lung cancer. She had been suffering since she started Chemo June 1st, which caused her to have more health issues. So, the Lord took her home to be free of the suffering.

She was married to the Love of her life Glen Weynand for 56 yrs. They met in Lantry, Texas at a gas station/bar in 1964. Her brother in law Edwin Lilie had told Glen about his sister in law Marie. It was pre-planned by Edwin and Glen. They met there daily. It was Love at First Sight. They married on November 12,1966. Together they had two daughters, Michele Renee & Kimberly Jean. They always had a dog and plenty of strays around to feed. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her. She was a very strong & vocal lady. She was so kind, loving and generous beyond measure. She never let any living human or animal go hungry. No food was ever wasted at the Weynand household. All of God's creatures will eat.

Til we meet again,

We will Love & Miss you,

Always & Forever!

Services have been entrusted to South Houston Funeral Home and on July 7, 2023 the family will gather at Houston National Cemetery promptly at 12:30pm to lay their beloved to rest
