Not sure what to say?

Marilyn was a warm person with a great sense of humor

I did not know Marilyn. Her husband was a classmate and lifelong friend of my older brother, Martin Collymore.
May The Creator rain blessings on her family and friends and hold her spirit in love and light.

I never met Marilyn, but I believe she was a special lady because she was loved. May her soul now rest in perfect peace.

Marilyn's Obituary

Marilyn was born in the city of Colon, Panama, on August 8, 1952, to her mother Marjorie Helena Roach and father Handel Nathaniel Kerr as an only child. She migrated to the USA in the 1970s, was married to David Sr. for 47 years, and had three children, Suzette, David Jr. and Leesa. She had several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins, across the US and Panama.

Marilyn loved to help people especially her children, family, and in her profession as a nurse until her retirement and in community health. She earned an (A.S. Associate of Science) Associate’s degree from Mission College, as an advocate for sharing resources for encouraging others in need, valuing education, learning, and reading. As a loving mother and daughter, she was caring, devoted, and loved to laugh, humor, movies, dancing, cooking, and baking. She loved caring for others, is loved and cherished by her family and will be missed dearly, remembered and honored by a legacy of all she has taught her family and others. Forever in our hearts.
