My deepest condolences to the Cornell Family. I remember well, when I first met Gene. At the furniture store. He was so helpful and personable. This man never met a stranger, and never forgot one, either. Gene will be missed, and leaves all who knew him with memories, that will make us smile.

Loved ones, i am so sorry for your loss. Gene will be missed by many.

We met Gene and his wife only one time, at a dinner at the Holy Rosary parish hall. I had heard of him often times from people in Warrenton. Almost everything that was beautifully written about him in his obituary I learned in that one evening! What a kind, gentle, smiling, knowledgeable, and faithful filled man! What a gem! Rest in Peace Gene. You have earned it! Our sympathies to the family.

Prayers for the family!

Dear Penny,
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Gene was such an incredible man. I always loved seeing you two out and about. He loved you so much! It was easy to see. He touched so many lives, a real blessing to the community.
Sending prayers for comfort.
Love,
Janice Holt
