Marion's Obituary

 

Marion J. Jerome, 84, widow of James Jerome, passed away Friday, February 13th, 2026, at the Samaritan Summit Village where she had been a resident for several years.

 

The funeral service will be 1pm, Thursday, February 19th at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home with Pastor John Petit officiating.  A calling hour will begin at 12 noon prior to the service.  Spring Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

 

Marion is survived by her daughter Trina Tuttle, Lowville, a son James White, Canton; her grandchildren Shawn Tuttle and his family, TN,  Tanya Dennee, Lowville, and her children and grandchildren, Brian Tuttle, his wife Michelle and their family, Alabama, Joshua Tuttle, Brant Lake, NY, and his wife Dawn, and their children; her brother Kenneth Eichorn, Florida, and his family, one sister Virginia Bryant, Georgia and her family.

 

Marion was born in the Town of Leray, March 14, 1941, a daughter to William and Inah Hughes Eichorn.  She was educated in local schools and was a 1982 graduate of Jefferson Community College with an associates degree in art.

 

Marion was a client advocate for the Community Action Planning Council (CAPC) for many years until her retirement.  She was predeceased by her husband James Jerome in 2013.

 

She was a longtime member of the Living Waters Fellowship Church.  She was devoted to her faith, her church, and her fellow church members.  She dedicated her life to raising her family and helping those who were in need.
