I miss you Mom. I realize now how much time I lost and I will wish til my dying days that I had of made time for you. I just really miss you and I thank you for everything you did for me. It was a privilege to be with you the last year and half of your life. Thank you for that time and I will see you in heaven when it's my time. Say hi to my dad and my grandparents. I love you more than you could ever know!

Dear families, I’m sorry to hear of Marions passing. Today ! I have known her since I moved to Burk. We met first at school with first graders, then at Church and finally at Rehab as we got older! She was always cheerful and could talk for hours. Saw Her at a garage sale last. I’m sure she will be missed. Prayers for all the family. Judy

Marion & I met when we both worked at sheppard elementary school where my kids went. We Became very close friends buddies as we called each other. Many times our families got together. When I wasn't working we woukd at times go shopping in Wichita falls or make trips to Lawton Oklahoma.We laugh and share many things. Over coffee at her place sometimes. I'm so happy I got to see her one last time at united grocery store where we caught up & share. I will miss my precious friend/ buddy. I...

I remember your mother fondly. She was a wonderful friend to my mother and I as a child remember them sitting out drinking their coffee and laughing! She loved to laugh! Praying for your family.

Marion's Obituary

Marion Studebaker, 80, of Burkburnett, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed.

She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 5, 1944 to Raymond and Susan Mead.  Marion was a resilient woman who deeply loved her family.  She had a passion for bowling, painting, and sewing.

Marion is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert “Bob” Studebaker; and her parents.

She is survived by her three children, Michael Studebaker, Christine Studebaker, and David Studebaker and wife Linda Studebaker; her sister, Betty Mead; and her brother, Raymond Mead.  Marion was an amazing grandmother to four grandchildren, Stephen Schobert and wife Bethany Schobert, Jason Schobert and wife Nicolette Schobert, Garrett Studebaker, and Zayden Studebaker; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Marion’s life at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
