She took great joy in family gatherings and holiday celebrations. An adventurous spirit, she loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises with her husband as well as other family members. She loved the ocean and being by the shore. One place that was particularly near and dear to her heart is Long Beach Island, an 18 mile-long barrier island off the coast of New Jersey.
