Not sure what to say?

Peg came into our lives late in life. Phil got a surprise sister and we both got a new family member with a joyful personality. What a wonderful discovery! Peg was someone we felt we'd known for years.
We loved her and send our sympathy to her girls and Ron.

We’re already missing you so much, Nan. So thankful for many amazing years and having you as such an integral part of our families and lives. We’re so grateful for the beautiful memories we have as a family.

Greatly loved, sadly missed

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Hopefully, the many good times and memories we all shared on Long Beach island together will lessen some of the tears and bring some peace and smiles to your family.

Nanny Peggy, you will be missed by myself and many others. Rest assured that memories of our time together will be cherished.

You were a great friend Peg who always made me feel like family. I will cherish all the great memories we had over the years. Please don't worry I will do my best to help Ron through this tough time. I know he would do the same for me. I will miss you Peg very much. Please rest in peace my dear friend. Forever in my heart.
Love Chris Masterson

I will cherish all the happy memories.

Marjorie's Obituary

Marjorie ("Peggy") Rose Mangle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 8, 2024, in Avon Park, Florida. She was born on January 25, 1931, in Jersey City, NJ. She grew up in Avenel, New Jersey and graduated from Woodbridge High School.

Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Ronald Mangle; her loving children, Linda Vanags (Uldis "Sam") of Dixmont, ME, Ellen Widera of Lagrangeville, NY, and Lisa Thorud (Steve) of Longville, MN; her cherished grandchildren Apryl, Stefanie, Christopher and Stacey; and two adored great-grandchildren Nora and Quinn.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Phillip and Thomas.

Marjorie enjoyed a fulfilling career as Vice President of Sales for the Interim Employment and Staffing Agency, where her intelligence, talent and dedication shone brightly. Upon retiring from Interim she found she wasn't quite ready for full retirement and went on to purchase and run her own Cruise franchise for several years. She enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Society and her community African Violet Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, mystery games, reading and dancing. She was a fan of old movies. Known for her great sense of humor, Marjorie brought laughter and joy to all who knew her. Her Miniature Schnauzers were dear to her, reflecting her caring and loving nature. She delighted in watching all the wildlife in her area, particularly the birds. She loved birds.

Marjorie's life was a testament to her love for her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed entertaining friends in her lovely home, or getting together with them at a favorite local restaurant. She took great joy in family gatherings and holiday celebrations. An adventurous spirit, she loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises with her husband as well as other family members.  She loved the ocean and being by the shore. One place that was particularly near and dear to her heart is Long Beach Island, an 18 mile-long barrier island off the coast of New Jersey. Many happy times have been spent there over years with her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and she will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Marjorie's name to charities that were special to her, the Salvation Army or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
